Privacy Policy

This Website is owned and operated by the Cameron Kravitt Foundation. We recognize that visitors to our site may be concerned about the information they have provided us. This Privacy Policy addresses those concerns. Visitors who do not accept this Privacy Policy should not use this Website.

“Cookies” are text files that store small amounts of information on a visitor’s computer or other devices. They are widely used by most websites to improve the visitor’s experience and the websites’ designs.

Collection/Use of Personally Identifiable Information

“Personally Identifiable Information” is information that identifies someone personally, such as the person’s name, address, telephone number, and email address. We may collect and store personally identifiable information when Website visitors:

  • Sign up for email newsletters or other materials;
  • Request further information from us about projects and services;
  • Donate to us;

The above list provides merely a sample of personal information that we may collect. We may additionally collect personal information in ways not described above. However, we do not collect personal information unless the visitor has provided it to us. A visitor may browse our site anonymously without providing any personally identifiable information.

When the visitor supplies any personally identifiable information for a specific purpose, we will use the information for only that purpose (such as to provide the service or information the visitor has requested). We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties any visitor’s personally identifiable information.

Collection/Use of Non-Personally Identifiable Information

We collect non-personally identifiable information such as IP addresses by using cookies or other types of technology in order to “recognize” a visitor’s web browsing. We use this information to help diagnose problems with our server, to administer our website, and to track website visitor traffic.

We retain all visitor information in accordance with existing laws, rules, regulations, and other policies. We conduct regular malware scanning on our website for security holes and known vulnerabilities in order to prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information.

We may use the donor’s payment information for recordkeeping purposes. Sensitive payment information such as credit card numbers are encrypted using Payeezy’s SSL technology and other industry standard measures in order to provide an added level of security. Please refer to Payeezy’s Privacy Policy here.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to collect aggregate visitors’ information such as IP addresses and time of each visit in order to track our website visitor traffic and other website metrics. Please refer to Google Analytics’ Privacy Policy here.

We will immediately delete the information of visitors who have decided to opt-out of our email subscriptions.
